warped tour

went to warped tour with james and dan and had a good time. we saw part of The Starting Line, MXPX, Dillenger (got punched in the face by some moron that doesn't know how to respect pit boundaries, and called Steve with a wake up call) , Fall Out Boy (very disappointing with all of the stops), Funeral For a Friend, Hawthorne Heights, My Chemical Romance, and The Offspring. we heard Mest and Thrice, but didn't watch. I'd have to say Funeral for a Friend put on the best show this year, although MCR, Hawthorne, and Offspring all also did an excellent job. We met this guy Alex, who is in this band call Mourning Maxwell and they are from Arizona, they're on the warped tour bill but didn't have a stage for the pontiac show...but he was out promoting so i listend to some of their stuff ended up buy the 3 CDs he had plus a shirt all for $15...which is awesome. I got a Hawthorne Heights shirt as well. I didn't go crowd surfing this year, because honestly the crowds were horrible this year and i didn't want to die...James went a few times though so that made up for me.

So yeah that was warped tour i guess...very hot with hardly any shade and not enough water to go around, lots of moshing and getting squished, great bands...all the stuff that makes warped tour warped tour.
